  Dropped boat in water after having scag rebuilt, carberator rebuilt ( both their advice)and it literally blew up in 10 minutes. The amount of smoke coming from the engine could be seen for miles. Now I'm at an island cottage with a little tin boat. Have to take my boat to marina here and rent one for two weeks. They will definitely be paying for servicing (not cheap in muskoka) and two week rental. My boat worked just fine before and now won't even turn over. Can't wait to see what happened here. I will update.
  
  Update 1 - CAS did not align properly after redoing scag which led to an actual fire ! (With gas residue not cleaned up after rebuilding the carb) I have the parts with the residue. Shoes completely melted and now a perfectly good engine needs to be rebuilt. Spoke with them and they will cover the cost up to date and want us to bring the boat back to "fix" it. AND will not pay for two week rental because there wasn't pre approval! REALLY? It was a long weekend in a Saturday , they were closed till Tuesday and it's an island cottage. I would think that they would be more concerned about the actual fire in my boat , completely wrecking my motor ( Volvo penta 5.0L) and would be falling all over themselves to please me! And by the way the rentals were a 95 seadoo week one and a 90 sea ray week two.
